Twin Stars Shine on Chenling | Voices from the Frontline: Our Performance is a Vote of Confidence from Our Customers

2026-07-08

In the first half of 2026, Chenling Automation’s frontline sales team has achieved frequent successes. Manager Zhang from the South China Office surpassed 5 million RMB in personal performance in Q1, while Manager Huang from the East China Office exceeded 2 million RMB in May alone. Stationed at the forefront of the market, both managers possess the most direct insights into product competitiveness, company delivery capabilities, and genuine customer feedback. Compiled from their own accounts, this article restores how Chenling’s "certainty" translates into orders from a frontline perspective.

Manager Zhang (South China Office): Customers Don't Buy "Cheap," They Buy "Reliability"

Q1 contracts exceeded 5 million RMB, with key customers concentrated in the 3C electronics and new energy sectors across Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Huizhou.

Having worked in sales for so many years, my biggest takeaway is this: in industrial procurement, customers never place orders because something is "cheap"; they do so because "you are reliable."

None of the major deals I signed in Q1 were won through price wars. What truly moved customers can be summed up in three words: Certainty.

The first certainty is Delivery Time.

In March this year, a battery module customer in Dongguan urgently needed a batch of variable-pitch modules to support the launch of a new production line, requiring delivery within 15 days. I wasn't entirely confident at the time, so I called headquarters to check capacity. The head of production told me directly, "With our 5,000-square-meter workshop and nearly 100 pieces of equipment, I’ll prioritize your customer's order. Rest assured." The goods were shipped on the 12th day. After receiving them, the customer specifically called to say, "I expected you to delay, but surprisingly, you delivered ahead of schedule."

      The second certainty is Quality.

Anyone working in the South China market knows that if a 3C production line stops for an hour, losses start at hundreds of thousands of RMB. Customers fear equipment failure above all else. I once brought a customer to visit our workshop in Ningbo—from raw material cutting and precision machining to final assembly and finished product testing, everything is completed in-house. After the tour, the customer said, "With the entire chain in your own hands, quality is controllable. That gives me the confidence to use your products." I’ve repeated this quote to every customer since. Full-chain independent manufacturing isn't just a marketing slogan; it means that if problems arise, there’s no finger-pointing with outsourced vendors—Chenling takes full responsibility.

      The third certainty is Growth.

When introducing the company to customers, I always highlight a set of figures: Revenue reached 40.37 million RMB in 2025; Q1 2026 has already surpassed 20 million RMB, with a full-year target of 80 million RMB; and the workshop expanded from 3,000 to 5,000 square meters in less than six months. Customers’ reactions to these numbers are remarkably consistent: "Your rapid growth proves you have plenty of orders and healthy operations—you won’t suddenly fail to supply goods mid-project." Honestly, these data points are more effective than a hundred pitches about product advantages.

I often tell the South China team: Our job as salespeople is simply to bring customers to see Chenling’s workshop. Once they’re there, Chenling speaks for itself.

Manager Huang (East China Office): 2 Million in May Isn't About Me—It's Because the Company Moves Fast

May contracts exceeded 2 million RMB, focusing on customers in new energy vehicle components, photovoltaic modules, and intelligent packaging.

Hitting 2 million RMB in May was honestly unexpected, even for me. But looking back, securing these orders had little to do with my personal abilities. The core factor boils down to one word: Speed.

The entire company system is accelerating, and I feel it distinctly when I’m out pursuing business.

The first speed is Rapid Solution Response.

In early May, a new energy customer found their existing modules lacked sufficient load capacity and needed a customized high-load variable-pitch module. I sent the requirements back to HQ, and R&D held an evaluation meeting that afternoon. Drafts were ready the next day, and by the following morning, the technical proposal was in my hands. When I presented it to the customer, they said something I still remember: "Your response speed is more than double that of our previous supplier." Because of this "speed," the customer barely negotiated on price later—they knew others might be slightly cheaper, but the cost of delays would far exceed any savings.

The second speed is Fast Sample Delivery.

After approving the proposal, the customer requested samples. This is where our full-chain independent manufacturing shone—cutting, machining, assembly, and testing all ran in-house without waiting for external vendors. Samples arrived two days ahead of promise. The customer later told me those two extra days allowed their production line retrofit to hit a critical window, avoiding at least three days of downtime. Consider what three days of stoppage means for a new energy production line—the customer had done the math.

The third speed is Swift Mass Production Assurance.

After sample approval, the customer immediately placed a bulk order. Concerned about lead times, I checked with production. The workshop supervisor assured me, "Don’t worry. With 5,000 square meters, we have ample space. Your order is scheduled and will be delivered on time." And it was.

Honestly, as a salesperson, my greatest fear isn’t difficult customers—it’s the company failing to meet expectations. But at Chenling, I find the company always stays ahead of me—from expanding from 3,000 to 5,000 sqm, growing from 40 million toward 80 million RMB, to securing every qualification: National High-Tech Enterprise, Specialized & Sophisticated SME, and Patent Leader. These aren’t talking points I memorize; they’re tangible proof I show when customers ask.

My mission is to convert this corporate "lead time" into customer trust.
